What that means is, as the article explains, “As people cut their bills by using more efficient devices, they tend to spend the extra money buying additional goods that cancel out some of the savings.” I find this interesting because over here in America, we have yet to see any savings from energy efficient devices let alone a report that can track “rebound effects” from all those savings.
