A United Nations expert has condemned the growing use of crops to produce biofuels as a replacement for petrol as a crime against humanity.I have already voiced my concern over using crops to produce biofuels and this article makes a much more educated case. In actuality, the article is reporting on the educated case made by Jean Ziegler, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food and a senior professor of sociology at the University of Geneva.
