Of the 33 cities predicted to have at least 8 million people by 2015, at least 21 are highly vulnerable, says the Worldwatch Institute. Seems like a big problem… If rising sea levels are unavoidable at this point, they would cause a major shift in the way the world works. A few off the top of my head are – different population distribution, different economic centers, and different resources readily available. While I definitely like to focus on the opportunity to profit and thrive, as a country and human race, due to the climate situation, this is almost an unfathomable situation.
