Most Americans blame emissions from cars and industrial plants as the primary cause of global warming and believe the United States should reduce levels even if other countries don't, a survey shows.This is reassuring… 56% of those polled felt global warming has been proven. While all polls must factor in a certain degree of error, the flip-side of the argument has only 21% support. That is, only 21% of those polled felt global warming was unproven or caused by natural changes. The more important number though is 66%, which is the percentage of Americans that now feel our country should do something to reduce global warming (compared to 52% who felt that way in 2001).
