And so it begins...

Global Warming is great! Well, it is not having a great effect on planet earth. And it is more than likely causing many negative outcomes to us as humans, however, it is great to discuss. It involves the world as we see it and live in it. It brings together interesting political figures around the world and forces them to make us love them or hate them. It evokes emotion. It will cost you money and could end your life as you know it. On the other hand, it could be a source of infinite financial wealth and happiness. It brings every inch of what makes us human into play. It is a moral issue… a financial issue… a political issue… a world issue… and possibly a life or death issue. So let’s talk about why this blog exist:

Yes, this is a political blog. But no, this is not like other politically-infused, right or left-centric blogs that you read elsewhere. The purpose of this, and many years past due might I add, is to provide an environment for a neutral, fact-driven discussion about an issue that will shape our world politically, economically, environmentally, and every other way possible. Too many people I know or meet are not well informed. On the flip side, and just as bad, too many people are only informed of one-side of the argument. So let’s get it all out there on global warming; let’s hear it all.

I originally considered starting this blog on all things politics, but I quickly came to the realization that unearthing the facts on global warming alone is a task large enough for one blog. Furthermore, what I really want to focus on is what the solutions are and what action is being taken today or tomorrow. If you want the argument to prove global warming exist, rent Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth”.
